What FileSeen does

Most files are still sent as attachments, and the sender never learns what happened next. FileSeen sends the same file as a link instead. The link opens in any browser with nothing to install, and you see each open, the country it came from, and, for PDFs, the time spent on each page.

Around that, a few controls keep the file in your hands: a password, an expiry date, view-only by default, and a delete button that stops the link for everyone at once. The free tools password-protect a PDF, make an encrypted zip or watermark a PDF without uploading anything.

The rules it follows

  • Only what is measured is shown. Reading time counts only while a page is on screen and in use. A reader's name or email appears only when they gave or confirmed it.
  • Your data is never sold. A file is stored to be shown to the people you send it to, and removed for good when you delete the link. The privacy page lists everything that is collected.
  • Comparisons are checked. Prices on the comparison page are read from the other company's own page and dated.
  • Free means free. The free plan has no time limit: every feature on 3 links, files up to 95 MB.

Who runs it

FileSeen is an independent product run from Sangrur, Punjab, India, and built for freelancers, small teams and anyone who sends proposals, decks and documents. A person reads every message sent to hello@fileseen.com. See the contact page for how to reach FileSeen, or report a link that is being misused.
