Tested on real Numbers files from Numbers '09 up to Numbers 15.

- ValuesNumbers, dates, text and currencies.
- FormulasFormulas such as SUM and SUMIF stay formulas.
- Every versionNumbers '09 files and every Numbers version since 2013.
Limits
- Charts are not kept. The data behind them is.
- Cell colours and borders can look a little different.
- A file with a password cannot be converted. Remove the password in the app first.
Where your file goes
Browsers cannot read Numbers files, so this tool works differently from the other FileSeen tools: the file is uploaded. It travels over an encrypted connection to FileSeen's own server, where LibreOffice converts it in a sealed-off folder with no internet access. The original and the converted copy are deleted as soon as the result is sent back, usually within seconds. Nothing is kept, nobody looks at it, and the file name is not logged.
Rather not upload it? On a Mac, iPhone or iPad, the app itself can export it: in Numbers, choose Share, then Export and Send (Apple's steps).
