FAQ
MSG viewer questions
What is an MSG file?
An email saved by Microsoft Outlook, with its message, attachments and details such as sender and date. Outlook makes one when you drag an email out of it or choose Save as.
Is my email uploaded?
No. The file is read inside your browser tab and nothing is sent anywhere. Pictures stored on the web are not loaded either.
Can I open the attachments?
Yes. Every attachment is listed with its size and a Download button. An email attached to the email is shown below it, with its own attachments.
Can I convert an MSG file to PDF?
Yes. Press Save as PDF above the email, or use the MSG to PDF converter for many files at once.
Why can't I open an MSG file without Outlook?
MSG is Outlook's own file format. Many other mail apps, such as Apple Mail and Gmail, do not open it. This page reads it in any browser.
