What is a .key file?
A presentation from Apple's Keynote app. PowerPoint cannot open it. Animations, transitions and charts are not shown here.
Where your file goes
Browsers cannot read Keynote files, so this tool works differently from the other FileSeen tools: the file is uploaded. It travels over an encrypted connection to FileSeen's own server, where LibreOffice converts it in a sealed-off folder with no internet access. The original and the converted copy are deleted as soon as the result is sent back, usually within seconds. Nothing is kept, nobody looks at it, and the file name is not logged.
Rather not upload it? On a Mac, iPhone or iPad, the app itself can export it: in Keynote, choose Share, then Export and Send (Apple's steps).
